Lightweight Backcountry Touring Skis
The Atomic Backland 95 are lightweight and versatile touring skis designed for backcountry touring and intermediate to advanced skiers. The model is developed with a focus on efficient climbing, low weight, and stable behavior during descents in various mountain conditions.
With a 95 mm width underfoot, the Backland 95 offer a good balance between lightness during climbing and sufficient area for stability and smooth floatation in soft and deep snow. At a length of 177 cm, the geometry is 128-95-116 mm with an 18 m radius, allowing both shorter and longer turns. The All Mountain Rocker 20/70/10 profile combines early tip rise, camber underfoot, and minimal rocker in the tail, ensuring better floatation in soft snow while maintaining good edge contact and stability on harder surfaces.
